Some workers at an Eastern Kentucky gas station received a surprise this weekend when a celebrity pulled in to fill up his car with gas.

Drew Carey, host of the "Price is Right," made the pit stop Sunday at the Beattyville Shell Station in Lee County.

Diana Spencer works at the Shell Station and grabbed several pictures of the game show host.

Spencer told us that Carey told her he was taking the scenic route while driving cross-country and somehow got lost, ending up in Beattyville.

Spencer says at first she noticed his car and not him.

"I approached him and asked to take pictures of his beautiful car for my daughter, it's hand painted. After I took a couple of pics I was thanking him and just said 'You look just like Drew Carey,' and he said 'Because I am.'"

Carey has tweeted about his trip including his drive through Eastern Kentucky.

Spencer said Carey was extremely nice and before he left the Shell Station she gave him directions to Natural Bridge.
