EKU Police: Man arrested after officers find items stolen from police department in his car

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Police at Eastern Kentucky University say a man was arrested after he admitted to stealing from their police department.

An officer originally pulled Bradley Hudson over because his tail lights were out, but smelled marijuana and then asked to search his car, according to police.

During the officer’s search he found items that were stolen from police vehicles over the weekend, including a bulletproof vest, according to police.

Hudson faces several charges, including theft and possession of marijuana.
