Employee brings loaded gun inside Kenton Co. school
Kenton County officials are investigating after they say a school employee brought a loaded gun into a middle school.
Officials say that administrators discovered the loaded gun inside Turkey Foot Middle School. The gun belonged to an employee that has since been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues.
Nobody was injured, and officials say the building is now secure.
Classes do not begin for students until Wednesday, but as a precaution, law enforcement was on hand as students picked up their schedules Thursday evening.
The name of the employee has not been released at this time.
