Dedicated fans have been camping out since Friday morning just to make sure they get tickets to Big Blue Madness.

This morning those same fans finally made the dash across the Avenue of Champions to get their spot in line.

Big Blue Madness is the first chance for U.K. fans to see the team in action.

Control cards will be handed out to fans on Friday at 2 p.m.

Tickets will then be handed out at 10 p.m that same day.

Before they get those tickets at the end of the week, Kentucky businesses are helping them have a little fun. Sleep Outfitters set up Cat Nap Corner, where fans can relax, charge their phones, and enter to win a Big Blue Madness dinner and hotel package.

"People who are camping have actually been coming in throughout the day to register to win this big, upgraded experience. And then we also have phone charging stations which have been super popular. And they can take a little catnap on our Tempur-Pedic and Sealey beds for a little break from the tent life," Kelsey Mattingly, of Sleep Outfitters said.

And Kentucky Legend is grilling up 500 hot dogs. They're handing out lunch to hungry, happy campers.

"This is my first time being here and it's incredible. The fans are excited they're all about being part of the sports atmosphere so I'm just like, wow." Brittney Brown of Kentucky Legend said.

Some fans have been participating in this tradition for decades, they say it's a way for fans to meet lifelong friends.
