LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Fayette County Public Schools announces its school season is being extended in 2018.
School officials announced Monday night that students have missed a total of four days and six hours of school due to winter weather this season. As a result, officials say students will now have to go to school on March 16, May 29, May 30, and May 31.
School officials say high school graduations are tentatively planned for May 31 and June 1, but those could change. Graduation dates will be finalized in mid-spring.
