FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Association of School Administrators has named Manny Caulk its 2019 Superintendent of the Year.
Caulk received the award as a surprise Monday night during tonight's Fayette County school board meeting.
The Fayette County Superintendent was named to the position in June 2015.
“Since Manny arrived in Fayette County, he has been relentless in his efforts to move the district forward and provide every child with opportunities to succeed,” KASA Executive Director Wayne Young said. “His selection for this award serves as confirmation that his hard work, and its tangible results, are being noticed and valued.”
Caulk will now be in the running for the National Superintendent of the Year Award, which is given by the American Association of School Administrators.
