The campus' Violence Intervention & Prevention Center (VIP,) is sending a message to anyone who is a part of the UK community that they are available to those who need help.

"From our end, we let people know that whatever happened was absolutely not their fault," says Taryn Henning, Director at VIP. "We just try to provide a good listening ear and support for folks who experience that."

VIP is a confidential source, meaning that it's not required to report violent incidents to police or the campus Title IX office. If for some reason, the VIP Center isn't able to provide the needed resources, it connects victims with other resources available in the community.
