Emergency managers in Lincoln and Rockcastle counties reported that several roads were covered in high water Saturday morning.

In Lincoln County, officials say that primary roads are passable, but several side roads are covered by water. They say a driver on Goshen Road had to be rescued.

Earlier Saturday, the emergency manager of Brodhead, in Rockcastle County reported to the National Weather Service that several roads in the city were also flooded.

If you see a flooded roadway, remember to turn around, don't drown.

Police and fire departments will be monitoring road conditions and will post signs if necessary.
