LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - 'House of the Witch' was shot back in May at an abandoned mansion on Winchester Road in Lexington.

Bryan Sexton, a movie producer for Distilled Media, said during filming, "we looked at thirty or so places and found this place, thankfully we got it because it's perfect for a haunted mansion."

WKYT's Sam Dick had a behind-the-scenes look at filming.

In the movie, a group of high schoolers visits the abandoned house that is supposedly haunted by an evil witch, as a dare. The group is trapped inside. Will they be able to find the secrets hidden in the house, or will they all meet their fate before the night ends?

'House of the Witch' airs at 9 p.m. on Saturday on SyFy.
