LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Lexington Humane Society is beginning to allow adoptions for some of the cats seized in a Lexington hoarding case.

The Humane Society says more than 100 cats will be under its care, and some are already available for adoption.

The cats will be spayed or neutrered, and they will also be microchipped and have medical care.

While some of the felines are ready for adoption, others will either go into foster care or undergo further rehabilitation.

The humane society also announced businesswoman Nancy T. Barron, II will match up to $5,000 in donations.
