Enjoy the next day and a half! This time period looks like it will be a calm one for you. You will see mainly cloudy skies and dry conditions until tomorrow night. Our southern skies will begin filling with rain/sleet/freezing rain/snow. All of the wintry weather forms will develop this weekend. It all goes to snow before the end of it.

Let's dig into the forecast for Saturday night & Sunday. A storm will track through the Gulf of Mexico and throw moisture into Kentucky. The exact track will mean absolutely EVERYTHING for us. Rather than go into all of the boring details of the whys & hows, I am just going to give you the necessary information so that you can plan accordingly.

- The accumulation line will have a very sharp cutoff.

- Southern & eastern Kentucky have the best chance to get back in the fold.

We'll watch every new model run and keep you updated all weekend.
