GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) - The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife responded to a possible drowning Monday around 1:50 p.m.

A woman, identified as 50-year-old Angela Dunagan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Dockworkers at the nearby Narrows Marina found Dunagan after a boater had warned them there was an incident not far from the marina.

Wayne Shelton operates Narrows Marina, and he said they brought Dunagan to the dock and called 911 before performing CPR.

Shelton and his crews have responded to similar incidents over a twenty year spa, he said.

He can't stress enough the importance of personal flotation deceives.

"I wear my life jacket. I expect my employees to do that, and I would love for the people on the lake to do that," he said, "because the worst thing we can do is come to something like that where somebody didn't wear their life jacket."

An autopsy is pending, and the investigation is being worked by Kentucky Conservation Officers,

We will update this story with more details as they become available.
