LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - After a disappointing loss to start the season, No. 2 Kentucky bounced back in their home opener to defeat Southern Illinois 71-59.
The game was a back and forth battle before the Wildcats pulled away late.
Freshmen guards Keldon Johnson and Immanuel Quickley each had 15 points. Sophomore Quade Green added 14 points and Nick Richards had 8 points and a career-high 19 rebounds.
