Kentucky pedestrian killed after tractor-trailer collision

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say a pedestrian is dead after a tractor-trailer collided into the man Thursday night.

Bardstown police say the male pedestrian was trying to cross John Rowan Boulevard just before midnight when the tractor-trailer struck the man.

Officers determined the man failed to yield the right of way to the tractor-trailer who had a green light. The tractor-trailer was carrying auto parts.

The Nelson County Coroner pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police didn't identify the man killed.

Police didn't file any charges.
