Kentucky ranked for first time since 2007 at No. 17 in AP Top 25

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Following Saturday's 28-7 win over No. 14 Mississippi State, Kentucky finds a spot in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2007 at No. 17 in the poll.

The Wildcats also check in at No. 17 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

Kentucky is 4-0 for the first time since 2008 and 2-0 in the SEC for the first time since 1977. The Wildcats host South Carolina on September 29 at 7:30.

Alabama is No. 1 in the AP Top 25 followed by Georgia, Clemson, Ohio State and LSU.
