Lexington Police say a portion of Liberty Road has reopened after being shut down for several hours.

The roadway was shut down at the Appletree Lane intersection after a truck crashed into a utility pole late Tuesday night.

Police say the driver was not injured, but the crash caused a minor power outage for several people living in the area.

Crews from Kentucky Utilities were called to the scene to repair the damage. It took several hours, but power was fully restored by Wednesday morning.

Police have not said what led to the crash.
