LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Lexington Legends' new marketing strategy making light of common millennial stereotypes has led to a variety of responses.

The promotion shows young people at the ballpark all on their cellphones, and they are promoting free parking, participation ribbons, nap time and selfies.

Promotions and giveaways are a staple of minor league franchises looking to attract fans to the ballpark, and some are praising the concept while others are not too thrilled.

Some were critical of the promotion, saying it is insulting a portion of its fanbase.

Others decided to take shots on older generations, especially baby boomers.
