A Lexington teenager is dead after a crash near Cincinnati.

Mariemont Police Chief Richard Hines says 15-year-old Jordan Perkins was driving a stolen car when he crashed.

Lexington police say the vehicle was reported stolen last Thursday from a parking garage at Saint Joseph Hospital.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Monday and shut down the road for some time. Mariemont Police say there were some car break-ins in the area early Monday morning, which are connected to the case. When they responded to the break-ins, police say Perkins drove off and was going "at a high rate of speed without any headlights."

Police say they recovered items from the vehicle that are confirmed to be stolen from the Mariemont break-ins.

A 13-year-old girl and two adults were also hurt in the crash. The girl's name has not been released. The two adults have been identified as 18-year-olds Gavin Rogers and Bradley Coots.

Police say all of them are from Lexington. Their conditions are not known at this time.
