Lexington woman accused of making children smoke marijuana

A Lexington woman is accused of making children as young as eight-years-old smoke marijuana.

Janet Cates was arrested Monday.

According to her arrest citation she let her neighbor's kids, ages eight and nine-years-old smoke pot in her apartment.

The kids told police her boyfriend made them drink mouthwash and sprayed cologne to try and mask the smell.

Cates is charged with unlawful transaction with a minor.

Police say they're still looking for her boyfriend, Josh Thomas.
