HOUSTON (WKYT) - Supplies are rolling into Texas for flood victims, and many Kentuckians are stepping up to help.
A group from Lincoln County collected two large trailers of supplies for people in the Houston area. Volunteers drove all day and night Monday, before arriving at First Baptist in Humble, Texas on Tuesday morning.
That church was hit hard by the flooding as well, but it is still serving as a distribution center for people to come in and get whatever they need.
The group from Lincoln County collected so many supplies between Wednesday and Sunday they had to add an extra trailer to bring it all down.
50 volunteers with Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief are scheduled to arrive in downtown Houston on Tuesday afternoon.
