3 arrested after lengthy barricade situation at Powell County home

CLAY CITY, Ky. (WKYT) - An hours-long emergency situation has ended with three arrests in Powell County.

Kentucky State Police say they responded to a home on Shiloh Lane in Clay City after a man was confronted by two men he didn't know when he returned home from work. The caller left the home and called 911.

Authorities arrived at the scene and tried to make contact with people inside the home. Several hours later, three left the home and were arrested.

Regina Whisman, 38, lived in the home. She was charged with hindering prosecution. Two men were also arrested. Tommy Petrey, 47, of Williamsburg and Donald Lewis, 37, of Louisville were charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Lewis also had a warrant out for his arrest.

The three were booked in the Powell County Detention Center.
