LORETTO, Ky. (WKYT) - Maker's Mark is releasing a bottle honoring 2018 Triple Crown winner Justify Friday.

The commemorative bottle not only pays tribute to Justify's accomplishments but also raises money for charitable causes. Proceeds will benefit both the Kentucky Derby Museum and a research fund for Parkinson’s disease.

The limited-edition bottles will be available at Liquor Barn locations Friday, October 19. The bottle is dipped in green wax in honor of Justify's green, white and black jockey silks worn by jockey Mike Smith in the Kentucky Derby.

A signing event for the commemorative bottle will be held at the Kentucky Derby Museum on October 29. Justify trainer Bob Baffert, jockey Mike Smith, WinStar President/CEO Elliot Walden and Maker's Mark 8th-generation distiller Rob Samuels will autograph bottles that day.

Tickets for the signing will go on sale at noon on October 23 at derbymuseum.org and will be available to 1,000 people. Tickets for the bottle signing are $26.50 with $25 of every sale donated to the Derby Museum.
