LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have arrested one man following a nearly three-hour standoff on Jefferson St. in Lexington.

Officers told WKYT a woman called them around 10 Thursday night saying she was held against her will with a weapon inside a home on Jefferson St. She told officers she and another woman escaped through a window.

Several officers and SWAT team members arrived at the home around 11:30 Thursday evening to investigate and found the suspect, Robert Patton, was still inside the home along with another woman.

A robot was brought in to survey the inside of the home. Officers said they entered the home when they saw Patton was asleep on a couch.

He was arrested and taken to jail. He faces wanton endangerment and unlawful imprisonment charges. Police say more charges could be filed once they speak with all who were in the home at the time.
