WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Craig Pennington appeared in Washington County Circuit Court on Wednesday afternoon.

A grand jury indicted Pennington on 11 different charges, including two counts of capital murder, in the disappearance of a northern Kentucky couple. He entered a not guilty plea to all of the charges against him on Wednesday.

The bodies of Robert Jones and Crystal Warner have not been found.
The couple, from Florence, was last seen July 3rd in Washington County at a home that they rented to Pennington.

According to Crystal Warner and Robert Jones's families, witnesses at the property told police they saw Pennington shoot and kill the couple and then take their bodies.

Relatives and friends of the victims have organized several search efforts in the weeks since their disappearance, but no trace of the couple has been found.

Pennington is due back in court on November 16. A discovery conference for the judge and attorneys will take place on September 28. Pennington's attorney says he does not know a lot about the case against their client because he did not have a preliminary hearing due to direct indictment. His attorney says they will need at least nine months to prepare for trial.
