LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - After patchy morning fog lifts, it will shape up to be a fairly seasonal Sunday. Temperatures will be mild as they climb up to highs near 80 degrees. A mix of sun and clouds is expected. More cloud cover is likely in northern Kentucky.
Heading into Monday temperatures will begin to warm up even more. Highs by the afternoon will be in the middle 80s for most, but a touch warmer for those who see a bit more sunshine. A few clouds will be present throughout the day.
Temperatures warm up even more for Tuesday as they climb into the upper 80s. Warm, above average temperatures will stick around into Wednesday as well.
As heat and humidity builds so will storm chances. Storm chances return on Wednesday and continue as heading into the end of the week. Another cold front looks to set up for Friday.
