HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police say the man involved in a barricade situation in Mercer County turned himself in Monday night.
Multiple agencies including Kentucky State Police were at the Cottonwood subdivision of U.S. 127 north of Harrodsburg.
KSP tell WKYT the man walked out of the garage at the home shortly after 8:15 p.m. and turned himself into police.
State police say they took over the scene at about 7 p.m. and were able to bring in a heavier response before the man was taken into custody.
There were reports that a woman may have been in the home at the time. Police say she left on her own and it was never a hostage situation.
KSP say a similar situation happened last Sunday with the same individual.
Media members were kept back a long distance from the home for precautionary reasons.
Troopers say their focus was to keep people safe and they are happy with how the situation ended.
It's not clear if the man will face any charges.
The neighborhood was cleared at about 8:45 p.m.
