More than 100 marijuana plants found in Hart County home

HART COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The Hart County Sheriff's Department made a big marijuana bust on Monday. Deputies found more than 100 marijuana plants inside a Hardyville home.

The sheriff says they searched the house after finding a stolen 16-foot utility trailer from Green County.

Inside the home police found the plants, grow lights, guns, and even a stolen commercial ice machine.

Deputies arrested 28-year-old Thomas V. Poynter and 35-year-old Jason Ray Luke.

Poynter is facing a long list of charges including cultivating marijuana, burglary, receiving stolen property and possession of firearm by convicted felon.
