Morehead State heading to Clemson as 4 seed in NCAA Tournament

Morehead State's baseball team is traveling to Clemson as it looks to advance in the NCAA Tournament.

The Eagles (37-24, 19-12), who won the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament, was placed in the Clemson Regional as a 4 seed where they will first face the 1 seed Clemson Tigers. The Tigers are ranked fifth nationally.

The other two teams in the regional are Vanderbilt (2) and St. John's (3).

Morehead State joins Louisville as the only two Kentucky teams to make the NCAA Tournament. Louisville received a 2 seed in the Lubbock Regional. The Cardinals will face Kent State Friday in their first game.
