ASHLAND, Ky. (WKYT) – Police in Ashland, working with the United States Marshal’s Office, arrested a fugitive from Aberdeen, New Jersey on Thursday.
Investigators say U.S. Marshals were searching for 27-year-old Jorge Rojas for sexual assault charges. Law enforcement officials were able to develop information suggesting Rojas was hiding in Ashland.
After tracking leads, officers found Rojas on Bath Avenue. He was arrested without incident.
Rojas was charged with being a fugitive from justice and taken to the Boyd County Detention Center.
