Robin Terry allegedly ran a red light while driving in the middle of two lanes on Main Street, and collided with a deputy’s cruiser, according to the Nicholasville Police Department.

The deputy received minor injuries from the incident, according to police. Chief Deputy Allen Peel told WKYT that the deputy was "banged up and sore," but would be OK.

Terry was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, according to the Nicholasville Police Department.

A construction crew was working on the building Tuesday night, checking out the damage and seeing what needs to be done to fix it or at least give it some support in the meantime. Workers there told WKYT that there is structural damage to the building, which they said is an appraisal office.
