One injured in Lawrence County home explosion

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Emergency management officials are trying to figure out what caused a home explosion in Lawrence County.

Crews say it happened Tuesday night in Louisa.

Firefighters say one person had to be flown to the hospital following the blast. Their condition is unknown as of Wednesday morning.

Crews haven't determined the official cause of the explosion, but believe it may have been caused by a natural gas leak.

We're told the home caught fire after the blast and was completely destroyed.
