One man airlifted to Lexington after serious motorcycle crash in Laurel Co.

KEAVY, Ky. (WKYT) - One man left the scene with “serious” injuries after a Laurel County wreck involving a motorcycle and an SUV, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.

A motorcycle collided head on with an SUV on Rooks Ranch Road around 6:40 a.m. Monday, according to police. The driver of the motorcycle, 36-year-old Richard Cox, was airlifted to the UK Medical Center with serious injuries, according to police.

28-year-old Jesse Curry was driving the SUV at the time of the crash, and sustained no injuries, according to police.
