NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Nicholasville police say they have found an indoor grow operation involving dozens of marijuana plants at a home Wednesday.

Police joined Jessamine County deputies in a search warrant on Brannon Road after receiving a tip about marijuana in the home.

When they entered the home they found approximately 75 plants and several pounds of processed marijuana.

Police say David Farrow and Carrie Farrow were charged with cultivating marijuana. The two are married.

Records from the Jessamine County Property Valuation Administrator's Office show the home is owned by Saint Andrew Orthodox Church.

A representative with the church, Charles Oudeh, told WKYT this is the first time they have ever had an issue with the property.

"We absolutely had no idea of anything that's been going on. We never had an issue with this gentleman. Always paid his rent on time. The management company never had any issues," Oudeh said.

The church also says the Farrows are not members of their congregation, and eviction is now possible.
