Police arrest Nicholasville man accused of robbing TJ Maxx

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Nicholasville man accused of robbing a TJ Maxx in Lexington is now behind bars.

Police arrested 35-year-old James Oakley Wednesday.

Officers responded to the store Sept. 17 after a loss prevention employee said Oakley left the store wearing clothes he did not pay for.

The employee said Oakley pulled a knife when confronted.

He is charged with first degree robbery.
