Police in Bell County arrest man dressed as clown

Police in Middlesboro say an officer spotted someone dressed as a clown walking down a wooded area in Bell County early Friday morning.

Police say they then pulled over and arrested Jonathan A. Martin. He is charged with disorderly conduct and on two warrants for non-payment of fines and for failure to appear for arraignment. He was also cited for violating a city ordinance by covering his face while in public.

He is lodged in the Bell County Detention Center.

Martin was still wearing his clown costume, minus the mask, in his mugshot.
