LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Police say an alleged threat made toward Lexington Catholic High School was unfounded.

The school's president, Dr. Steve Angelucci, sent an email to families on Thursday.

In the letter, Dr. Angelucci said a former student threatened the school.

Lexington police told WKYT they know who made the threat and they're interviewing that person. Police later determined the threat to be unfounded.
