LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)- Police are investigating after shots were fired into several homes early Tuesday morning.

It happened on North Upper Street near downtown around 3 a.m.

Neighbors say they heard 10 to 20 shots being fired. Several cars were also damaged.

"I don't hear the police, I don't hear nothing else. Just the shots, my dog barking, cars going really fast and that's it," said neighbor Cirse Perdomo. "Normally in this area, you can hear shots sometimes. I tell my daughters don't go to the windows and look out at what happened because you never know."

Just minutes after those calls to police, two men showed up to UK Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
