Police: Pulaski co. man holds home invasion suspect at gun point

Pulaski County police say deputies responded to a 911 call of a home invasion early Friday.

The call came in around 7:30 a.m., police say Megan Baker, 27, was awakened by the sound of male voices in the home.

According to police, Baker immediately called 911 and her father, Mark Baker who lives down the road.

Police say he arrived within minutes to find two people leaving the home and fired shots, one of which struck the car used by the suspects.

Mr. Baker held one of the suspects, 39-year-old David Lafavers at gunpoint until police arrived. Police say the other suspect escaped the scene.

Lafavers was taken into custody and charged with 2nd Degree Burglary. Police are still searching for the second suspect.
