A coalition of pro-life organizations rallied at the newly opened Planned Parenthood facility on Seventh Street Saturday.
The rally highlighted Planned Parenthood's continued placement of abortion facilities in the inner city of predominately minority communities.
It also called for the Commonwealth of Kentucky not to allow the facility to perform abortions in Louisville.
On Jan. 27, Kentucky's newly elected Gov. Matt Bevin announced that facility had failed to provide proof that women who suffered complications from procedures would be safely transferred to an area hospital for emergency care. Bevin ordered Planned Parenthood stop performing abortions until license obligations could be satisfied.
