MOREHEAD, Ky. (WKYT) - Rescue crews are looking for a boy who was swept into a culvert near a creek.

Morehead Mayor Jim Tom Trent asked for the community's thoughts and prayers on a Facebook post Sunday afternoon as emergency responders looked for the boy.

He also reminded parents to keep their children away from culverts during heavy rain.

The search area is near Advance Auto Parts and Triplett Creek, officials said.
