Robbery suspect's fingerprint found on Lexington murder victim's car

A Lexington man is charged in connection with an April convenience store robbery.

Police arrested Anwar Ricketts, 18, in connection with the robbery at Minit Mart on Town Centre Drive on April 3, his arrest citation states.

Police think a getaway driver was waiting on him, and hours later, Christian Cubert was found shot to death on Devonport Drive, according to the arrest citation.

Cubert was likely the getaway driver, police said.

Ricketts' fingerprint was found on the car, his citation indicates.

Nobody has been charged in Cubert's death.
