Sam Dick's Citrus Bowl Diary | Day 4: Game day has arrived!

ORLANDO, Fla. (WKYT) - Good morning BBN, it's game day!

Here’s what know after watching every game this season. We have a good team this year. Not great, but good, and sometimes very good. We have some game changers. Lynn, Benny, Josh. If they don’t have their best game the odds of us winning drop. Most experts agree these games are won at the lines. If we can’t give Terry some time...not good. If our defensive line can put pressure on their fine veteran QB, very good.

I am not a football expert. But I have really enjoyed this season, especially the wins over Florida, Mississippi State, and Louisville. I so respect and admire our senior class. Guys, we will miss you. Thanks for years of hard work!

As for today’s activities, we will be live at 10 a.m. on WKYT at FanFest next to the stadium, and at noon leading up to kickoff at 1 p.m. I also hope to bring you the Catwalk live on Facebook at 10:45 a.m., so look for that.

I want to thank all the UK fans who have said "hello" or offered a smile along this bowl journey. Last night a UK fan from Miami stood over our gear during the pep rally. It was so packed. Videographer Steve Moss and I had to move away from our packs to shoot pictures. My pack on the road is my life. And this fan really helped us. He also brought us cups of cold water. When you’ve worked hours in the sun, that is a big deal. He wanted to buy us a beer, but respectfully we had to turn that down. After our live shots, we talked about jobs and life. Precious moments. He worked for Ryder. Thanks, Mr. UK fan from Ryder. You are a class act!
