School officials find weapons in car of student at Boyle County High School

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - School officials found weapons inside the vehicle of a student's car at Boyle County High School.

Boyle County School officials say the student was in class and was not armed.

Officials say that students were never in any danger.

The school district says there will be a police presence at all Boyle County schools starting Wednesday morning and continuing until enough information has been gathered to make sure no threat exists against students or staff.

There is no word on what charges the student may be facing.
