The Nelson County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant on Thursday in connection to the disappearance of Crystal Rogers.

The warrant was served to former Bardstown police officer Nick Houck, though the house searched belongs to his grandmother.

Houck's brother, Brooks Houck, was the boyfriend of Crystal Rogers, who was last seen alive July 3, 2015.

Police have named Brooks as a suspect in the case, but he has not been charged.

Roger's mother, Sherry Ballard, showed up at the home Thursday as police were investigating.

I just couldn't stay away. I just felt like I had to. Nervous, I'm just nervous, and I just wanted to see what was going on. They can't tell us a lot of stuff, so I'm like, I just want to come up here and see for myself," Ballard said.

Deputies would not say what was on the search warrant, though investigators were seen taken items out of the house.
