WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - Interstate 75 was shut down in both directions in Whitley County following a semi truck fire and fuel spill.
Dispatchers in Whitley County said the crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Thursday near mile marker one.
The truck was driving south when dispatchers say it hit a guardrail.
As of 7 a.m. firefighters were still putting out hot spots. Diesel fuel has leaked onto the road.
The driver was able to get out and is not hurt. No other injuries have been reported.
The Whitley County EMA director tells WKYT the truck was hauling lunch meat.
All lanes were reopened around 2:30 p.m.
