Victim identified in deadly Madison County Interstate 75 crash

A man is dead after a crash on I-75 in Madison County.

It happened a little before 6 a.m. Thursday on the southbound 90 B exit ramp. It's the first Richmond exit headed from Lexington.

Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison says the victim is Travis Blackburn, 35, of Indiana. Blackburn was driving on the exit ramp when he hit an abandoned car on the side of the road.

The exit ramp was shut down for more than an hour as crews work to investigate and clean up the crash, including cleaning a gas spill.
