Sheriff: Laurel County man arrested after throwing Christmas ham at woman

A Laurel County man was arrested Sunday after deputies say he threw a Christmas ham at a woman.

Deputies say they responded to Love Road after receiving word of a domestic dispute. When they arrived David D. Brannon, 21, of London tried to leave the scene, but deputies were able to detain him.

Investigators determined there was an argument over which day the family was going to have Christmas dinner when Brannon began throwing items at a woman including the ham.

Brannon was charged with assault and fleeing or evading police. He was booked in the Laurel County Detention Center.
