LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)- UPDATE: (1/29/18, 11:00 p.m.)

Shop Local KY announced on Monday it has now raised more than $125,000 for victims of the shootings in Marshall County.

The store owner said in a post on Facebook he is proud of his state and thanks everyone for being so generous.

A Lexington based clothing company is giving back again following the shooting in Marshall County.

Shop Local KY has unveiled the new shirt that commemorates the victims of the deadly shooting in Marshall County. The shirt reading, "Kentucky Strong" will be sold in their stores and online.

The store's Founder, Rick Paynter, says 100% of the money made from the shirts will go to help the victims in the shooting. He says the shirts have already surpassed $60,000 and the orders keep coming in.

"I think it's a great sign of the state coming behind us and coming behind the families and unifying and it's a strong message," says Paynter. "You know it's a Kentucky Strong shirt, so I think it's a great thing not only just the funds, but the messaging behind it."

This is not the first time Shop Local KY has given back. Following Hurricane Harvey last fall, the shop sold shirts raising nearly $80,000 for the victims.

The Shop Local Kentucky Store is located in downtown Lexington on the corner of Woodland Avenue and Maxwell Street.
