The Estill County Emergency Management Agency released a photo of the man, who was identified as Casey Myers.

Irvine police say the man was last seen entering the woods on Church Street. He was handcuffed at the time he went into the woods. He was wearing a white shirt and orange pants.

Ruth Conrad lives in the area and said her 14-year-old daughter was on the porch when she saw the man run by their house.

"It scared me a lot. I mean she's 14 and he could've done anything. She was right there," Conrad said.

People in the Court Street, Sweet Lick and North Madison areas are asked to take the precautions.

If anyone sees this man, they are asked to call 911.

Myers is a prisoner who has been convicted of several charges in the past decade.
