LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Lexington daycare is closing after the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services opened an investigation.
National Academy daycare announced the decision on Facebook.
"We will help find placement for your children, and we appreciate you entrusting them to us for so many years," National Academy said in the Facebook post that was later deleted.
A spokesperson from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services said the current investigation did not force the daycare to close.
Next Friday, December 14, will be the last day of operations after 30 years of business.
We reached out to the daycare owner, and they declined comment.
